I decided to do something a little bit different today and create a Christmas gift tag. I can add this to Christmas gifts for family members and make the packages look even better. Adding a little creative flair always makes something look better.
Isn’t this just super cute and FUN! I love the bordering I did with the different Christmas papers. The trees are cut out using the Joys of the Season, Cricut cartridge. I know I’ve been talking about this cartridge all week, but it really is worth the investment if you like to make Christmas decor, scrapbook pages or cards…..makes things a whole lot easier.
I made the lights on the middle tree with a regular hole punch. I just took scraps of different colored papers and used the holes as lights. It’s hard to tell from this picture, but there is also a little gold star at the top of the middle tree as well. I used a teeny tiny star punch for it and I think it fit the tree perfectly.
Although it isn’t one of the most extravagant gift tags I’ve ever seen, it is cute and I think it will look perfect on a child’s Christmas gift. I’m going to try and enter this into a couple of challenges this week, but haven’t looked all of them up yet, but here are a few….
